Let your sales team make DEALSnot drawings.

Every hour your salesperson spends sketching is an hour not spent closing deals. We turn concept sketches into quotation drawings in 12–24 hours, checked through our P.Eng.-led Canadian QA/QC process — so your team stays focused on selling.

Turnaround begins after the scope, reference information, price, and production availability are confirmed. Overnight delivery requires confirmation before the daily production cutoff.

1 · Problem & Solution

Your sales team can't quote what it can't draw.

An RFQ lands. Engineering is buried in production with hard deadlines. The concept drawings your salesperson needs sit behind that queue — and by the time they arrive, the customer may already be focused on the companies that responded sooner. Sometimes the problem is not your price. It is how long the drawing took.

Problem 1 — Engineering Can't Keep Up

Your engineers are too busy to draw for quotations.

Engineering is buried in production work with hard deadlines. When sales needs concept drawings for a quote, the answer is "we're slammed — 3 to 5 days." By then, the customer may already be evaluating other options. Production and sales end up competing for the same technical resource, and neither is served well.

✓ Our solution: We handle quotation drawings so engineering stays on production and sales stays on closing. No more tug-of-war.

Problem 2 — Sales Is Drawing, Not Selling

Your salesperson is stuck sketching instead of closing.

When engineering can't help, your BD person starts building rough concepts themselves — in PowerPoint or basic CAD. Hours spent drawing are hours not spent selling, and the amateur output undercuts the quote's credibility with the customer.

✓ Our solution: Professional quotation drawings in 12–24 hours, checked through our P.Eng.-led Canadian QA/QC process — so your sales team stays on the phone doing what they do best.

Problem 3 — Losing Deals on Speed

Response time decides who stays in the running.

Sometimes you are not losing on price — you are losing on response time. A quote that arrives while the customer is still comparing options gets considered. One that arrives after they have narrowed the field often does not. Faster responses help keep your company in the conversation, and the ones you never hear back on are the hardest to measure.

✓ Our solution: 12–24-hour quotation drawings help your sales team respond while the customer is still evaluating options.

Why this bottleneck exists

Your engineering department is staffed around awarded work and production deadlines. Hiring additional engineers or draftspeople only to support fluctuating sales inquiries creates permanent overhead for work that may not be consistent.

As a result, business-development staff end up competing with production projects for the same internal technical resources. SensiImage provides flexible quotation-stage drawing capacity when sales needs it — without adding another permanent position.

Why SensiImage helps your sales team respond faster.

Your sales team needs answers in 12–24 hours, not 3 days. Here's how we compare to other options.

Let's Talk
2 · Choose Your Turnaround

How fast do you need it?

Pick the speed your bid actually requires. Your choice is confirmed in writing with the quote before any work starts, so the date you are promising your customer is the date you get.

BY 4:00 PM MT — YOUR DESK
You send what you have
A sketch, a marked-up plan, a photo, a PDF from the customer, or a CAD file. Whatever is on your desk when the RFQ lands.
BY 5:00 PM — CONFIRMED
Scope and availability confirmed
We confirm what is being drawn, the price, and that production capacity is free tonight. Nothing starts before this is agreed in writing.
OVERNIGHT — PRODUCTION
The drawing gets made while you sleep
Our production team runs approximately 11–12 hours ahead of Alberta, so your evening is their working day. Nothing sits in a queue waiting for morning.
BEFORE 9:00 AM — YOUR INBOX
Reviewed and ready to quote
Checked against your scope through our P.Eng.-led Canadian quality-control process — so your sales team can price and send the next business morning, while the opportunity is still active.

Turnaround begins after the scope, reference information, price, and production availability are confirmed. Overnight delivery requires confirmation before the daily production cutoff. Established clients with approved templates and agreed commercial terms can send later in the day, because the onboarding is already settled. Same-day work follows the same route in reverse: sent before 10:00 AM MT, back by end of business, subject to availability.

Not sure which you need? Choose the speed the customer is imposing on you, not the one that feels safe. If a bid closes in two days, say same day — we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable before you commit to it. Rush and same-day work is quoted at a premium; standard scheduling is at our base rate.

3 · Why We're Fast

Experience that shortens the quotation cycle.

Turnaround depends on familiarity. Our team brings experience across precast and cast-in-place concrete, structural steel, timber, fabrication, mechanical equipment, MEP and BIM workflows — so the conventions of your drawing are not something we work out on your deadline.

🏗️

Precast Concrete

Panels, beams, hollow core, double tee. Layout, embed, and connection details — fast.

🔧

Structural Steel

Connections, member layouts, bolt schedules. Concept-to-quotation in hours.

🪵

Wood & Timber

Framing, mass timber, connections. Layouts and details ready to quote from.

🏭

Fabrication

Custom parts, assemblies, fixtures. Quotation drawings your sales team uses immediately.

💨

HVAC & Plumbing

Familiarity with the drawing type is what protects the turnaround — and every deliverable goes through our P.Eng.-led Canadian quality-control process before it reaches you.

4 · Services

Quote faster. Deliver with confidence.

Fast quotation drawings so your sales team responds while the customer is still deciding — then the production drawings to build what you just sold. Every sheet checked through our P.Eng.-led Canadian QA/QC process before it reaches you. Engineering design, technical responsibility and authenticated deliverables are separately scoped where required.

What this pricing looks like

See the typical quantity and detail associated with a small task and a multi-sheet package.

Small Drawing Task

One clearly defined job — a new sheet from your sketch or model, a few detail updates, or simple revisions.

Typically: one drawing sheet, or two to three small updates.

Turnaround: 12–24 hours — confirmed before the afternoon cutoff, delivered the next business morning.

Assumes your design information is ready to use. Design changes or engineering input take more time.

Multi-Sheet Drawing Package

A larger job — several related sheets with plans, sections, details, and schedules, built from your project information.

Typically: four to six coordinated sheets, or a similar set of updates.

Turnaround: 24–36 hours for a package of this size.

Assumes the design direction is already set. Complex shapes, new design work, or missing files add time.
Pricing and revision terms

Prices are in CAD; USD figures are shown for reference at approximately 1 USD = 1.40 CAD, and CAD amounts govern. Revisions apply to the original agreed scope. Additional sheets, new design direction, rush work, and other out-of-scope changes are quoted before proceeding. Drafting plans do not include engineering design or authenticated drawings; engineering services require a separate written proposal.

8 · Who You're Working With

The experience behind the turnaround.

Speed on a quotation drawing comes from knowing the drawing type, not from cutting corners. Our team works across precast and cast-in-place concrete, structural steel, timber, fabrication, mechanical equipment, HVAC and plumbing, and interiors — so the conventions are already familiar when your deadline arrives.

Ghulam Muhammad Ali, Ph.D., MBA, P.Eng., PMP — President & Principal Engineer, SensiImage Technologies
Ghulam Muhammad Ali, Ph.D., MBA, P.Eng., PMP
President & Principal Engineer

Ali is a Professional Engineer with more than 20 years of combined experience in structural and construction engineering, technical drawing production, precast and modular construction, and heavy-lift operations. Because that work covers how components are actually fabricated, transported, and erected, he knows which details a quotation drawing has to carry for a price to hold — and which ones can wait until the job is awarded. Judging that line is what makes a 12–24 hour turnaround realistic rather than a shortcut.

He holds a Ph.D. in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Alberta and an MBA in Project Management from the University of New Brunswick.

As President and Principal Engineer, Ali scopes each request, confirms what is being drawn before production starts, and runs the Canadian QA/QC review that every deliverable passes through before it reaches you. That review layer is the reason production capacity can sit offshore without the risk usually attached to it. Where engineering or authentication is required, the licensed professional responsible for that discipline reviews and accepts responsibility for the technical work.

9 · Questions & Answers

Straight answers about speed.

How quoting, revisions, permits, and engineering responsibility work.

How fast is 12–24 hours, really?
You send a sketch, markup, or existing drawing by mid-afternoon — a napkin sketch, a photo of a marked-up plan, a PDF from the customer, or a CAD file, plus overall dimensions and any template we should match. We confirm the scope and price before the production cutoff. Our production team works while Alberta sleeps, the file is checked through our P.Eng.-led Canadian QA/QC process in the morning, and it is in your inbox before you start quoting. Your sales team can respond the next business morning, while the opportunity is still active. If something critical is missing we ask once, quickly, rather than guessing.
Does fast mean lower quality?
Speed here comes from experience and a documented checking process, not from skipping steps. Every deliverable is checked against the agreed scope through our P.Eng.-led Canadian quality-control process before it reaches you. Engineering design, technical responsibility and authenticated deliverables are separately scoped where required.
What counts as a quotation drawing?
A concept or layout drawing carrying arrangement, key dimensions, and the elements that drive cost — quotation-stage detail sufficient to support preliminary pricing and customer discussion, without developing production-level documentation. Your sales team does not usually have a detail problem at this stage; it has a response-time problem.
What if I need it faster than 24 hours?
Tell us. Same-day turnaround is often possible on a single sheet if we hear from you early in the day and the information is ready. A multi-sheet quotation package of four to six sheets is typically 24–36 hours. Email ali@sensiimage.com or call +1 506 639 2534 and we will tell you honestly whether a deadline is achievable before you promise it to your customer.
Can you handle several quotation requests in the same week?
Yes, and that is usually the point. Most companies are not held up by one drawing; they are held up by the fifth RFQ that never got quoted. Capacity scales without you hiring, and if your volume is steady the Dedicated Draftsman plan reserves someone specifically for your sales team.
Is the turnaround committed, or an estimate?
On the Fixed Price plan the delivery date is confirmed in writing before work begins. On hourly work the turnaround is confirmed when the scope is confirmed. Production, permit and construction packages are scheduled after scope review rather than quoted against a standard turnaround. If anything threatens an agreed date we tell you immediately rather than letting you find out on the deadline.
What if my sales team changes something after I submit?
Small changes — a dimension, a relocated detail, a revised note — are part of the process and included in the agreed revision round. A genuine change in scope or design direction is quoted separately, and we tell you upfront if it affects the delivery date.
Can I use these drawings for the actual project?
Quotation drawings are for pricing and for helping a customer decide. For production, permit, or construction use, the drawings are prepared to that standard as a separate scope, and engineering work is handled by the licensed professional responsible for that discipline and jurisdiction. We will always tell you which one you are getting.
Which plan should my sales team start on?
If you are testing us, start hourly — the first job up to CAD $500 is covered by the confidence guarantee, so you pay after delivery. If quotations are already costing you bids, the Fixed Price plan puts the date in writing. If your sales team needs drawings most weeks, the Dedicated Draftsman plan typically provides the lowest effective cost per drawing and the fastest ongoing response, because the assigned person already knows your products and standards.
